    About the Session

Our energy often fades around 11am or 4pm. Why? Healthcare is a demanding work environment where quality patient care is the goal, but sometimes comes at a cost to our long-term wellness if we are not properly nourished. We will discuss self-wellness and self-care - how can we take on the day with more wellness? There are many barriers in our environment preventing us from wellness. Hunger is a powerful biological force, and requires conscious and mindful decision making. Making good nutritional decisions not only impacts our own bodies, but is also beneficial to our families. We will finish up the session with an exercise on mindful eating with M&Ms!

Keynote - Rolling the Dice: Change your Strategy, Change your Results!

Every medical group manager can reinvent their practices and procedures.  A personally challenging and value-changing presentation that makes reinvention easy. Change is happening!  Just as the Kindle has changed publishing, WebMD is changing patient interaction, Netflix is changing home movie rental and the iPod changed personal music!  With the sweeping changes coming out of our nation’s capital, changes are coming to health care in ways we have never prepared for.  Our business is even more determined by the need or want that is satisfied when the patient “values” our medical services.  Answer questions and hear stories about companies and organizations who reinvented themselves to meet the challenges of medical practice today.

                Financial Management

Led by the New York MGMA in collaboration with the CT MGMA, de MGMA, PA MGMA, and VA MGMA.

                About the Webinar

Medical professionals are tasked with running a leaner and more efficient practice while experiencing lower reimbursements and higher costs. Revenue reporting and analysis are more critical than ever to drive higher performance and maintain a successful medical practice. A benchmarking analysis is a good first step to protecting and securing a practice’s overall performance and profitability.

A thorough benchmarking review will include both data analysis and observations and recommendations. Data analysis allows for meaningful measurement against industry indices and trends. Observations and recommendations provide the interpretation of the data analysis to equip the practice for better performance in the future.

This webinar will identify the critical components of the revenue cycle that every practice should understand and review.  By understanding these metrics, you can be on your way to improving the financial health of your practice and increasing the valuation of what  may be your most valuable asset.
