Throughout the month of April and into early May, the New York MGMA will hold special events throughout the state - "Bring a Friend for Free." Each Member is encouraged to attend their local event and bring one friend for free as a way of introducing to them all the great educational and networking events that we have to offer. William P. Hassett practices in the fields of professional liability (medical and dental malpractice), healthcare law, premises liability, general liability, and insurance law. Mr. Hassett also provides legal opinions to healthcare practitioners on a variety of matters, including professional liability issues, HIPAA privacy and security regulations, regulatory compliance, and professional misconduct, as well as general assessments of issues in medical and dental practices.
Frank M. Winter

Frank M. Winter works for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) New York Regional Office and is responsible for conducting outreach and building partnerships with clinicians, beneficiaries, and community organizations. Frank planned CMS’s first Regional conference on Medicare Modernization for the Asian American Community, and partnered with the NYC Office of Viral Hepatitis to hold the first CMS special issues training for organizations serving patients with hepatitis. Frank is a a frequent co-host on the Regional Office’s “CMS & You” cable program, the Regional Office training lead, and has conducted a series of MACRA webinars with his CMS colleagues.

Elizabeth Moy has more than 30 years of healthcare experience in risk management, quality improvement and utilization review. She has been involved in numerous patient safety and risk reduction projects over the years, servicing major New York teaching institutions, and physician group practices. She is an active member of ASHRM and AHRMNY. Elizabeth has lectured extensively on risk management, patient safety and related healthcare topics.
