About the speakers

Kevin Szczepanski
Partner, Insurance Coverage & Regulation and Commercial Litigation Practice Areas

Barclay Damon LLP

Kevin is a trial and appellate lawyer at Barclay Damon LLP who primarily concentrates his practice on insurance coverage, business litigation, and cyber risks. Kevin has extensive experience litigating directors and officers, errors and omissions, and property and casualty coverage under both primary and excess policies. He has served as both lead settlement and trial counsel in highly sensitive business and coverage disputes. He also advises clients on regulatory matters, insurance-policy drafting, and underwriting issues.

In the cyber risk field, Kevin represents businesses facing first- and third-party losses due to data breaches, service interruptions, theft, and other cyber threats. He also counsels clients on coverage for cyber risks and represents them in liability and coverage disputes.

Steve Stasiukonis
President

Steve serves as President of Secure Network Technologies, focusing on Penetration Testing, Information Security Risk Assessments, Incident Response and Digital Investigations. Steve Stasiukonis has worked in the field of Information Security since 1997, specializing in the use of technology to identify information security vulnerabilities, assessing risk and the collection and interpretation of digital network intelligence. As a part of that experience, Steve is an expert in Social Engineering. Demonstrated actual social engineering efforts involving pretexting, phishing and physically compromising banks, data centers and other highly secure facilities.  Steve carries numerous security certifications by various organizations and also serves as a columnist for Information Week magazine and DarkReading.com


Patty Dobbins

Patty has 20+ years in IT , graduating from Western Governors University with a BS degree in Information Technology. She serves on the Board of the CNY Chapter of ISACA (Information Systems Audit and Control Association). She is an advisory board member of Electronic and Computer Technology for the Jefferson-Lewis Board of Cooperative Educational Services, a member of AICPA (American Institute of Certified Public Accountants)-Informational & Technical Assurance, ISACA-Information Systems Audit and Control Association, and the IEEE Computer Society.  Patty formerly ran her own independent IT consulting organization and has had medical clients and assisted on HIPAA Compliance, Risk Assessments and IT strategy.
