About the Session

Our energy often fades around 11am or 4pm. Why? Healthcare is a demanding work environment where quality patient care is the goal, but sometimes comes at a cost to our long-term wellness if we are not properly nourished. We will discuss self-wellness and self-care - how can we take on the day with more wellness? There are many barriers in our environment preventing us from wellness. Hunger is a powerful biological force, and requires conscious and mindful decision making. Making good nutritional decisions not only impacts our own bodies, but is also beneficial to our families. We will finish up the session with an exercise on mindful eating with M&Ms!
